Below: Trees throughout the Tri-Lakes area were damaged by the heavy snow April 23 and 24. Traffic came to a standstill as I-25 and Highway 83 were closed during the day and many motorists were stranded. Some residents were without power for many hours. Conditions improved quickly and temperatures were in the 70s and 80s by the end of the month. For more Tri-Lakes area weather information and photos see the April Weather Wrap.
