Two photos below: September 28: 280 people attended the Railroad Festival sponsored by the Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce. These photos were taken at the model train show inside Palmer Lake Town Hall. More model trains were on exhibit at the firehouse next door and at the Western Museum of Mining and Industry in Gleneagle. Four clubs participated: The Pikes Peak Division of the National Model Railroad Association, Slim Rail of Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak N Gineers, and the "G" Scalers, whose layout was set up at the Museum of Mining and Industry.
